Bette Nordberg
Bette Nordberg has always been a writer; her stories circulated the teacher's lounge even in grade school. In spite of the evidence, she started her professional life as a physical therapist, specializing in rehab medicine. She switched to writing in 1990 when illness forced a career change. Since then, she has published five novels and numerous nonfiction projects.
Today, Bette and her husband, Kim, live in Puyallup, Washington, where they helped to plant Lighthouse Christian Center. They have four adult children — two still completing college. Bette teaches Christian Growth classes and writes drama for her church. She is a frequent teacher at writer's events, and speaks to women's groups all over the Northwest.
